To help ensure Green Lifestyle magazine stays abreast of the latest ideas and thinking in sustainability, we've asked eight experts in various fields to advise us.

Jon Dee is the founder and chairman of Australian advocacy organisation Do Something! and co-founder of Planet Ark. The 2010 NSW 'Australian of the Year', he is the author of the highly successful business book ‘Sustainable Growth’. In June 1991, he founded Planet Ark in partnership with his close friend Pat Cash. In 1989 he also founded Rock Aid Armenia. In addition to being a social entrepreneur, Jon is an accomplished keynote speaker who has given hundreds of speeches in Australia and overseas.

Matt Perry is the co-founder and partner of Republic of Everyone, Australia's most prominent and innovative sustainability strategy and communications company, famous for its work on The Green Party ad and the Say Yes Australia campaign. Now, he works as the director of marketing and engagement at the Centre for Social Impact, which researches and influences responsible change in Australian business.

Patrice Newell is a former television presenter turned biodynamic farmer and author. She gave up a high profile career in TV to live on the land and run a 10,000 acre beef cattle property in the Hunter Valley of New South Wales specialising in chemical-free beef. Her passion for farming is obvious in her books, The Olive Grove and The River, the latter a critically-acclaimed examination of water-management in rural communities.
