National Recycling Week

10 – 16 November, 2014
National Recycling week is nearly here, and Planet Ark is encouraging everyone to join in, whether it be at home, school or work. Planet Ark founded National Recycling Week as an education campaign in 1996, to bring focus to recycling and minimising waste. Since then recycling has become part of our every day lives; however with the growing number of items that can be recycled, more education is required to make sure valuable resources stay away from landfill! There are popular events being run over this week that are designed to get schools, social or community groups and businesses recycling, as well as more education about recycling at home.

Where: Australia-wide.
When: Monday 10 - Sunday 16 November, 2014.
Cost: Free to get involved!
