SIMS Harbour Hike 2012

SIMS Sydney Harbour Hike

2 September

What better way to spend Father's Day than exploring the scenic coastline of Sydney Harbour, soaking up the sights of the city's unique federation homes, idyllic bays, classic boats, beautiful bushland and city views?

The 11km hike is an easy to moderate, untimed walk, suitable for the whole family. Starting under the Harbour Bridge teams will wind their way along the harbour foreshore paths and cross the finish line at Clifton Gardens Reserve in Chowder Bay, where a marine themed festival awaits!

Wind down after the trek amongst the food stalls, live entertainment and meet marine scientists and some fellow sea creatures!

This is a carbon neutral event that supports the Sydney Institute of Marine Science, and is a great opportunity to learn about the harbour's history and its unique marine environment. Complete the quiz along the way, to be in the running for great prizes.
Registration limited to the first 4000 people.

Where: Bradfield Park, Kirribilli to Clifton Gardens Reserve, Chowder Bay.
When: From 8AM, Sunday, 2 September, 2012.
Cost: Registration from $35
