Take action on climate change!

Put your concerns into action! You can help motivate communities to demand climate action at Australian Climate Action Summit this year. Over the two-day summit, you will have the opportunity to talk with successful campaigners about a clean energy future. The activist panel comes from all around Australia and across different sectors, including George Monbiot, Drew Hutton, Prof. Lesley Hughes, Cate Faehrmann MP, Fiona Armstrong, Simon Butler and Tony Mohr. Before the Summit, you may join the Friday night forum at the NSW Parliament House to discuss and explore community climate action through the law and media. The guest panel includes Michelle Maloney, Larissa Waters, Jane Rawson and Graham Readfearn.

Environmentalism made great strides over the past four decades, raising public awareness of Australian and global sustainability challenges to unprecedented levels. Now governments, businesses, communities and individuals are being asked to move from awareness to action, to hasten the transition to a more sustainable future. Media and marketing are under increasing scrutiny as governments and business try to explain themselves. Green Capital is bringing together top practitioners and thought leaders from across the communications spectrum to confront the challenges of making the big sell for sustainability in the 21st century. Sydney registrations close on Monday, 31 October, Melbourne registrations close Friday 4 November.
