Design Excellence 2013 - Create, Explore, Connect - A New Library & Plaza for Sydney

Monday 4 March, 2013
The City of Sydney’s design competition for a new library and plaza at Green Square attracted over 160 submissions from around the world. Architects and designers were inspired by the chance to shape a new town centre in Sydney and the idea that libraries are increasingly becoming our ‘urban living rooms’ – places for exploration, creativity and connection. See the five shortlisted schemes, meet the winning architects, and hear from the jury on what inspired their choice.

Where: Lower Town Hall, Sydney Town Hall, 483 George Street (Entry via Druitt Street) Sydney, NSW.
When: 18.30 to 20.00, Monday 4 March, 2013.
