After a few years in Sydney, SUSTAIN 2013, the tweaked reinvention of the Organic Expo & Green Show, will be returning to Melbourne. The event promotes all things; certified organic, fair trade & sustainable, green, ethical and allergy conscious.

This year will see Samantha Gowing the Head Chef and Nutritionist at Cabarita Ocean Health Retreat, cooking delicious and healthy recipes on the Demonstration Stage.

Where: Royal Exhibition Building, Carlton Gardens, Melbourne, Vic.
When: Saturday 19th October 10am-6pm, & Sunday 20th October 10am-5pm, 2013.

There are no fees for exhibitor sites so it will be a unique opportunity to catch new, green, start-up orginisations. Stalls are encouraged to formally present information on the sustainable aspects of their business, so there will be plenty of inspiration for those looking for a new green project.

Are you interested in using reusable nappies instead of land-filling disposable nappies? The Canberra Environment Centre is exploring the world of modern cloth nappies with a workshop on Wednesday 20th February at 10.30am.

The workshop will introduce you to the different types of modern cloth nappies available, the accessories that make using cloth nappies easier, tips for washing and maintaining cloth nappies and the financial savings and environmental benefits that result from leaving disposables behind.
