Take in the stunning views of the Harbour foreshore this Father’s Day while raising funds for the Sydney Institute of Marine Science (SIMS). Stroll along 12km of lower north shore pathways past majestic federation homes, glorious bays, bobbing boats and with spectacular vistas of the city. You’ll be able to appreciate Sydney’s unique envirnment and help SIMS with their five-year Sydney Harbour Research Programme which aims to discover ‘what lies beneath’ the harbour and the threats posed to this marine habitat. Hikers can enter competitions to win great prizes and all are rewarded with a 20% discount on Fantasea Adventure Cruising’s Bondi Beach Whale Watching Cruise or Sydney Seven Wonders Coastal Adventure. So get your registration in!

Where: The hike will begin under the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Bradfield Plaza, Kirribilli.

SIMS Sydney Harbour Hike

What better way to spend Father's Day than exploring the scenic coastline of Sydney Harbour, soaking up the sights of the city's unique federation homes, idyllic bays, classic boats, beautiful bushland and city views?

The 11km hike is an easy to moderate, untimed walk, suitable for the whole family. Starting under the Harbour Bridge teams will wind their way along the harbour foreshore paths and cross the finish line at Clifton Gardens Reserve in Chowder Bay, where a marine themed festival awaits!

Wind down after the trek amongst the food stalls, live entertainment and meet marine scientists and some fellow sea creatures!

This is a carbon neutral event that supports the Sydney Institute of Marine Science, and is a great opportunity to learn about the harbour's history and its unique marine environment. Complete the quiz along the way, to be in the running for great prizes.
Registration limited to the first 4000 people.

Where: Bradfield Park, Kirribilli to Clifton Gardens Reserve, Chowder Bay.
