Clean Energy Week 2014

22 – 25 July, 2014
Hosted by the Clean Energy Council, Clean Energy Week is Australia's biggest event for the renewable energy and energy efficient industry. Featuring industry officials and government speakers, the two-day conference is the perfect networking point for anyone working or interested in sustainable wind, solar and hydro technologies. The week also includes the Clean Energy Council Industry Awards on Tuesday, concluding with the Solar Design and Installation Awards, and Appropriate Technology Retailers Association of Australia (ATRAA) Dinner on Thursday.

Governments in New South Wales and Victoria have clamped down on wind energy and their decisions are not based on science, they're catering for vested interests. Wind power will generate investment, jobs and income. It's not perfect but it's an important part of the mix.
