Sales Manager/Business Development Organic and Natural Food

Due to our amazing growth, we are looking for an energetic, go-getter to join our sales and marketing team as a Sales Manager.

You will be managing an awesome team of three other sales people with plenty of experience and great attitudes.

You will be responsible for increasing our product sales and being the first customer point of contact within our grocery and café distribution channel.

With an approximate role breakdown of:

•20% educating and supporting current sales staff with sales strategies and techniques. Training, internal sales meetings, trade events, administration and reporting duties

•30% liaising with new customers and reactivating customers and introducing them to our product range .

•40% dealing with current customers and managing you own territory, upselling and introducing new lines and ensuring they have ongoing positive experiences with our business.

•10% dealings with interstate distribution partners, Upselling and introducing new lines and supporting brands they purchase.

This is primarily an on-road position and you will be expected to be independent, self-managed and super organised. You will be reporting directly to the Managing Director of the business. You must be a driven and goal-oriented person. You will have strong people skills and use these to quickly build rapport and grow relationships whilst achieving results.

Sales experience of at least 3 years is a must and your café/coffee grocery FMCG industry experience will be an asset. An interest in organic/natural foods, fitness and wellbeing will be highly regarded. Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Excel, typing, strong attention to detail and follow-through, are a must in this diverse role.

FMCG experience would be highly regarded. Experience dealing with independent supermarkets a must.

You must have a current driver's licence.

This is a full time position with rare night and weekend-end work (for trade shows) will be required from time to time but not often.

Interstate travel will be required but not often.
