National Program Manager Green Army, Sydney/Melbourne/Brisbane

ManpowerGroup is a national Service Provider to the Department of the Environment in the provision of the Green Army Program. The requirement to deliver a large number of projects has resulted in the need for a National Program Manager within our Manpower business to be located in one of our corporate offices in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.

This role will report through to the General Manager and will hold key relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders. The primary purpose of this role is to liaise with Project Sponsors, Landcare Australia, Department of the Environment and multiple ManpowerGroup business units in order to ensure every project assigned to Manpower, as a Service Provider to the Green Army program, is delivered safely, on time, within scope and on budget.

In this varied role, you will have a number of responsibilities including:

•Planning and implementing defined and specific projects
•Implementing identified strategies across a broad range of functional areas
•Project definition, identification of objectives and quality control
•Coordination of appropriate resources to facilitate delivery
•Individual Project hand off to National Operations team

You’ll have the ability to impact operational efficiency through your effective engagement with others across the program including customers and key stakeholders.

Your skills and experience will include:

•Experience in project management and delivery at both foundation and intermediate levels;
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
•Strong focus on achievement of results within agreed timeframes and budgetary guidelines;
•Ability to engage appropriately across multi-functional or multi-discipline teams;
•Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills; and
•Flexibility to adapt to change within a dynamic environment
•Familiarity with PM methodologies including Prince 2 and PMBOK;
