Based in Northcote, Victoria, you will manage our well established retail store. You will bring your existing skills from your previous retail experience to improve the systems, procedures and sales performance of this dynamic business. Your role will include providing advice and support for a range of our products, such as: insulation solar power, eco paints, LED lighting, household products and other sustainability products.
Duties include:

* Managing the retail operations to ensure effective, efficient and profitable operation of the store.
* Customer enquiries and sales, which will include providing advice on a range of sustainability products.
* Completing sales, taking deposits, ordering products and organising delivery to customers;
* General shop duties including inventory management, assisting in new product selection and shop promotions.
* Managing and developing a team of staff.
* Overseeing the presentation, visual merchandising of the store.
* Contributing to the marketing activities and other promotional activities.
* Other duties as required.

Selection Criteria:

* Previous retail experience would be regarded highly.
* Knowledge of, or aptitude to learn about solar, sustainability, environmental and renewable products;
* Full-time availability;
* Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills;
* High level of organisational skills and a systematic approach to work;
* Ability to multi task and work in a busy distracting environment;
* Knowledge of sustainability products or an aptitude to learn quickly;
* A belief in sustainable solutions;
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team;
* Good written and verbal communication skills;
* Ability to work without supervision.
