Vintage Candle Making Workshop

Learn how to make your own candles using vintage glass & Eco-Soy wax to create up-cycled, enviro-friendly candles for your home.

The No 12 Trading Café is located at the roundabout of leafy Lenthall Avenue, Kensington, the nineteenth century shopfront with its old-fashioned balloon window and iron work is a happy home for vintage, re-purposed and rustic discoveries .

Sunday 29th March, 4 pm to 6 pm

Learn how to make your own candles using vintage glass & Eco-Soy wax to create up-cycled, enviro-friendly candles for your home.

This workshop will take you through the basics of making your own candles, teaching you various pouring, measurements and advice, shared amongst other like-minded 'crafters'. It will be run by the established artist Melissa Carey, and held at No. 12 Trading Cafe, Kensington, Sydney. This is an intensive workshop aimed at beginners, aged 18 and above.

What you get: 3 vintage glass candles per person to take home, detailed instructions, new crafty skills, and a scrumptious dessert served with freshly brewed coffee & tea. All glass, materials and equipment will be provided. All glassware is purchased second hand and the sizes and styles will vary at each workshop - giving you unique candles every time!
