Proposal and Design Coordinator

Veolia is now seeking a Proposal and Design Coordinator on a six month fixed term contract to coordinate the delivery of professional proposals for Veolia Australia and New Zealand. This role will be responsible for engaging with internal stakeholders to gather data and information pertinent to our client's individual requests. The role will also work closely with bid and the Business Development management team to coordinate effective and competitive client responses.

Key Responsibilities include:
•Consults with internal stakeholders and bid/proposal management to determine process for communicating solutions to clients.
•Meets proposal deadline by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, and approval; entering and monitoring tracking data; coordinating requirements with contributors; contributing proposal status information to review meetings; submitting proposals.
•Gathers proposal information by identifying sources of information; coordinating submissions and collections; identifying and communicating risks associated with proposals.
•Develops proposal by assembling information including project nature, objectives/outcomes/deliverables, implementation, methods, timetable, staffing, budget, standards of performance, and evaluation; writing, revising, and editing drafts including executive summaries, conclusions, and organisation credentials.
•Prepares presentation by evaluating text, graphics, and binding; coordinating printing.
•Maintains quality results by using templates; following proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, and tone; maintaining proposal support databases.
•Obtains approvals by reviewing proposal with key providers and project managers.
•Improves proposal-writing results by evaluating and re-designing processes, approach, coordination, and boilerplate; implementing changes.
•Develops graphic standards and content which can be applied to the entire business.
•Participates in, and where necessary, provides training for proposal writers throughout the business (i.e. within State teams).

•Demonstrate accomplished professional written communication skills within various genres.
•Demonstrate capability with various design tools and programs (i.e. Adobe Creative Suite).
•Demonstrate ability in developing internal and stakeholder strategy and implementation within appropriate time frames.
•Demonstrate a commitment to improving the brand of Veolia in Australia and New Zealand.
•Demonstrate well developed interpersonal skills.
