There are no fees for exhibitor sites so it will be a unique opportunity to catch new, green, start-up orginisations. Stalls are encouraged to formally present information on the sustainable aspects of their business, so there will be plenty of inspiration for those looking for a new green project.

Put your concerns into action! You can help motivate communities to demand climate action at Australian Climate Action Summit this year. Over the two-day summit, you will have the opportunity to talk with successful campaigners about a clean energy future. The activist panel comes from all around Australia and across different sectors, including George Monbiot, Drew Hutton, Prof. Lesley Hughes, Cate Faehrmann MP, Fiona Armstrong, Simon Butler and Tony Mohr. Before the Summit, you may join the Friday night forum at the NSW Parliament House to discuss and explore community climate action through the law and media. The guest panel includes Michelle Maloney, Larissa Waters, Jane Rawson and Graham Readfearn.

This year, over $100,000 is up for grabs for organisations believing they could use the money to build a better future for the planet and its inhabitants. Learn about seed saving, foraging for edible weeds and swap items for seeds all at once with Milkwood Permaculture. ‘Seed Circus’ is a one-day event of learning, swapping, eating and meeting interesting people. This event is part of Milkwood’s Fair Share and is also a part of International Permaculture Day. Milkwood is a permaculture enterprise based near Mudgee, NSW Australia. Founded in 2007 by Kirsten Bradley and Nick Ritar with the intention to develop a small farm from scratch that would also be a working, abundant permaculture system.

'Botanical Songforms' the work of Phillippa Carnemolla

The Royal Botanic Garden in Sydney is playing host to a superb new art exhibition from the 2012 Artist in Residence, Phillippa Carnemolla. Fascinated by the complex relationships between plants and animals that she observed in her year of residency, the exhibition portrays sacred geometries of life, historical biology and the interdependence of plants and animals. The exhibition features an array of stunning sculpture and fine jewellery pieces, and is an event not to be missed for any art or nature buff!
