The Australian Museum is again playing host to the Wildlife Photographer of The Year exhibition, a four month show featuring the world's the finest wildlife photography. The exhibition includes beautiful, carefully chosen images ranging from landscapes and plant life to captivating animals, which were selected from almost 50,000 entries in the international competition. If you are interested in photography, or simply appreciate the awe-inspiring beauty of nature, this event is for you.

All are welcome to the free environmental extravaganza this Sunday in Woodlands Historic Park in Greenvale. Local electricity distributor Jemena and Landcare Australia will host a day of pony rides, guided bike tours through park, native grass planting, native animal encounters and boomerang throwing and many more. Free BBQ lunch will be provided with live music.

The Royal Botanic Garden in Sydney is playing host to a superb new art exhibition from the 2012 Artist in Residence, Phillippa Carnemolla. Fascinated by the complex relationships between plants and animals that she observed in her year of residency, the exhibition portrays sacred geometries of life, historical biology and the interdependence of plants and animals. The exhibition features an array of stunning sculpture and fine jewellery pieces, and is an event not to be missed for any art or nature buff!
