Showcasing a wide range of local talent, the Artisans Market at the historic Coal Loader is a treat for the eyes. Browse the stalls displaying and selling art, jewelry, sculpture, sustainable fashions, wool creations, food and a whole lot more. You can purchase original and creative products from emerging designers who fit in with the ethos of the Coal Loader Centre for Sustainability. Artisans markets are held throughout the year, but this will be the last one for the year, so don't miss out.

Where: Coal Loader Centre for Sustainability, Waverton, North Sydney, NSW.
When: 9am – 3pm, Sunday 30 November, 2014.
Cost: Free entry to the market, and while a few stalls do have Pay Pass, it's a good idea not to forget your spending money!

With inspiring harbour views and a rich history, a tour of the Coal Loader site is a beautiful location to learn about sustainable living. The Coal Loader features a sustainability cottage, wetlands, community garden, native bushland nursery, historical tunnels, Aboriginal engravings, parklands and a beautiful bushland reserve next door. Experience this on a free guided tour as well as learn about the Coal Loader platform, Sustainability Centre and history of the Waverton peninsula. It is recommended that you book ahead.
