Join one of Australia's leading tourism operators in a senior marketing and communications position. Sydney's iconic Taronga Zoo and Taronga Western Plains Zoo, NSW's most visited regional attraction, is seeking a dynamic and highly experienced marketing and communications expert to take up the position of Head of Marketing, Communications and Tourism.

In the eve of its centenary year, Taronga is embarking on an exciting range of developments as part of its Centenary Plan, including a $115m investment over the next 4-5 years. The Zoos, operated by Taronga Conservation Society Australia, are globally recognised and play a critical role in Taronga's broader conservation work.

The Head of Marketing, Communications and Tourism is responsible for setting and achieving ambitious sales targets for admissions and international tourism via the development of innovative and impactful marketing and promotional campaigns, and sales programs whilst also taking organisational ownership of the Taronga brand.

The successful candidate will be able to effectively develop, manage and report on budgets and targets, be highly competent in managing complex projects and have a proven track record of delivering results in a competitive environment. Influencing skills and effective team management is a crucial component of this role as is a strong track record in the digital space.
