Humpback whale shows amazing appreciation after being freed from nets

Michael Fishback is a co-founder of the Earth Island Institute's Great Whale Conservancy. Michael spends two months in the Sea of Cortes every winter photographing blue, finback and humpback whales to help track these magnificent animals across our oceans while observing their complex behaviours in the wild. On Valentine's day in 2011, Michael and his three friends were presented with a rare opportunity, the chance to save the life of a humpback whale. Their efforts were captured on film. Here's their incredible story.
